Backup eGeoffrey
-
What would be the easiest way to create a back-up of an eGeoffrey installation?
-
@eporocrail just backup the directory where eGeoffrey is installed. This will include everything you need (configuration, database, installed packages, etc.). I will add a page in the docs website about this, good question.

I have been working with the advanced editor.
And indeed I threw away too much.
Uploaded the back-up I created.
Partly things are available again but not 100%.Two things:
Good opportunity to rethink and rework the layout of the system. This stresses the importance of a back-up procedure.

What exactly did not work in your restore? So I can make it more clear when detailing the procedure. Thanks!

A part of the menu structure I created myself, was not available.
The main point is to have a clear back-up procedure to be used at regular intervals just to be sure everything is backed-up.Not tested in depth at the moment.

OK

For completeness, some of the restore issues you faced may be related to this: https://github.com/egeoffrey/egeoffrey-installer/issues/3. Unfortunately it has a bit of impact in moving from local files to Docker volumes so may take some time.
