What would be the easiest way to create a back-up of an eGeoffrey installation?
@eporocrail just backup the directory where eGeoffrey is installed. This will include everything you need (configuration, database, installed packages, etc.). I will add a page in the docs website about this, good question.
I have been working with the advanced editor.
And indeed I threw away too much.
Uploaded the back-up I created.
Partly things are available again but not 100%.
Good opportunity to rethink and rework the layout of the system.
This stresses the importance of a back-up procedure.
What exactly did not work in your restore? So I can make it more clear when detailing the procedure. Thanks!
A part of the menu structure I created myself, was not available.
The main point is to have a clear back-up procedure to be used at regular intervals just to be sure everything is backed-up.
Not tested in depth at the moment.
